Philippe Mugiri

Global Health Corps Fellow – DHA for Ngoma District

Philippe joined the Access Project in July 2010 as a Global Health Corps Fellow. He is currently serving as one of the District Health Advisors (DHAs) for Ngoma District. Among Philippe’s many responsibilities are conducting health center management assessments, reporting on the status and progress of Access Project interventions, providing hands-on managerial and technical support to all health centers in the district, and working to coordinate the efforts of the Access Project and its local partners.

Prior to joining the Access team, Philippe worked in the field of management, finance and administration within reputable international companies such as Kigali Intercontinental Hotel as Conference and Banqueting Supervisor, Kigali Serena Hotel as Accountant, and Skynet Rwanda as Finance and Administration Director. Philippe holds a BBA in Finance from the School of Finance and Banking (SFB) in Kigali.
