Dorine Kayirebwa
IEC and Community Mobilization Officer
Dorine joined the Access Project’s NTD Control Program in June 2007. As Information, Education, Communication (IEC) and Community Mobilization Officer, Dorine uses her excellent experience in health communication to promote the health of Rwandese population. Dorine’s responsibilities include coordinating IEC and community mobilization activities, providing trainings to trainers, developing the training manual and other IEC materials, and consistently monitoring all program activities.
Prior to joining the Access team, Dorine worked as “vérificatrice des soins de santé” at Military Medical Insurance (MMI) where she ensured that MMI’s fund was well managed. Dorine also worked at Rwanda National Television as the program health producer for over six years, where she used behavior change communication for the prevention of some of Rwanda’s most prevalent diseases. Dorine received her MPH from the National University of Rwanda/Tulane University in 2009.
