Gaspard Kabanda

Data Analyst, NTD Control Program

Gaspard is currently the data analyst for the Access Project NTD Control Program. Gaspard first joined the NTD Program in the position of Data Analyst in 2007. In June 2008, Gaspard began working with TRAC Plus within the Rwandan Ministry of Health, where he actively participated in the exercise to map NTD prevalence in Rwanda and in mass drug administration campaigns during Mother and Child Health Weeks. He was also responsible for the production of the weekly epidemiological bulletin and he participated in the implementation of control measures for the A (H1N1) Influenza pandemic in Rwanda. In June 2010, Gaspard re-joined the Access Project, where he was appointed to support the health management and information systems in health centers and to participate in the development of a training module for health center data managers.

Prior to joining the Access Project, Gaspard spent 14 years working with the TB and Leprosy Control Program within the Ministry of Health. Gaspard holds a bachelor’s degree in Demography and has diplomas in Social and Nursing Sciences.
