Michee Kabera
Data Management Specialist
Michee joined the Access Project in 2008, and is currently working as the Data Management Specialist. In this role, Michee provides technical support for health center data managers throughout all Access supported districts. He also manages and analyzes all data collected by surveys conducted by the Neglected Tropical Diseases Program. In addition to these duties, Michee monitors and evaluates data to determine the impact and progress of Access interventions.
Before joining the Access team, Michee worked in Kigali Teaching Hospital (CHUK) where he coordinated all activities related to data collection and analysis. Michee also worked as a district supervisor from 1998 to 2002 in Gisenyi District, where he conducted an integrated supervision of all activities in health centers. Michee holds a master’s degree in Epidemiology from the School of Public Health at the National University of Rwanda and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from ULK (Kigali Independent University). He also received a certificate in data management in health (DU en Gestion des bases de données en santé) in 2008 from the Universite Bordeaux.
