Michel Musilikare
Finance and Administration Director
Michel joined the Access Project in April 2007 and uses his skills and experience to ensure that financial information, human resources, and administrative systems are efficient in order to increase Access Project’s capacity to meet its objectives. He oversees all bookkeeping, bank accounts and cash flow to ensure sufficient funds are available for effective and efficient implementation. He leads the preparation of the budget projections, maintains data on expenditures by line item, produces and analyzes budget variance reports.
Prior to joining the Access Project, Michel worked as a financial analyst in the Bank of Commerce, Development and Industry, as the principal auditor in the Office of the Auditor General (Rwanda) and as the finance and administration director of the Rwanda Association of Local Government Authorities (RALGA). Michel holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the National University of Rwanda. He is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), the world’s largest and fastest-growing global professional accountancy body, and a founder member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Rwanda (ICPAR).
