Raissa Kalinganire

Assistant Country Director

Raissa began working for the Access Project as the Assistant Country Director in April 2010.  Her main responsibilities include assisting the Country Director in carrying out his duties, assisting with project promotion and advocacy, preparing project reports and proposals, managing the project’s administrative affairs, and assisting the Country Director in monitoring program performance and ensuring that all programs fulfill the project’s standards and goals.

Before joining the Access team, Raissa worked as Assistant to the Operations Manager in the Millennium Villages Project from September 2007 to February 2008, then as Assistant to the Director of MV Rwanda LLC until January 2009. Raissa then worked as Assistant to the Minister of State in charge of Energy and Water in the Ministry of Infrastructure until March 2010. Raissa obtained her bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management from the School of Finance and Banking in Kigali, Rwanda.
