Stephen Lee
Global Health Corps Fellow – DHA for Ngoma District
Stephen joined the Access Project in July 2010 as a Global Health Corps Fellow. He is currently serving as one of the District Health Advisors (DHAs) for Ngoma District. Among Stephen’s many responsibilities are conducting health center management assessments, reporting on the status and progress of Access Project interventions, providing hands-on managerial and technical support to all health centers in the district, and working to coordinate the efforts of the Access Project and its local partners.
Prior to joining the Access team, Stephen worked as a consultant for two years at Applied Strategies, a global health and life sciences management consulting firm based in San Mateo, California. He gained experience in HIV vaccine market forecasting, demand forecasting for malaria and tuberculosis interventions, and dengue vaccine financing. Stephen received a BS in Biology from MIT and an MS in Bioengineering from Stanford University.
