Heena Patel

Global Health Corps Fellow - Ngoma District

Heena joins the Access Project team as a Global Health Corps Fellow in the Ngoma District. Among her many responsibilities are conducting health center management assessments, reporting on the status and progress of Access Project interventions, providing hands-on managerial and technical support to all health centers in the district, and working to coordinate the efforts of the Access Project and its local partners.

Prior to joining the Access Team, Heena worked as a business analyst, project manager and consultant for various companies including Valeant Pharmaceuticals, United Health Group and Genentech. Heena graduated from the University of California, Irvine (UCI), with a major in Information and Computer Science. While at UCI, she co-founded the Undergraduate Business Association, which enabled students across all disciplines to build their business acumen and strengthen their leadership skills.
