Kamiri Kamanda

Global Health Corps Fellow - Rwamagana District

Kamiri joins the Access Project team as a Global Health Corps Fellow in the Rwamagana District. His many responsibilities include conducting health center management assessments, reporting on the status and progress of Access Project interventions, providing hands-on managerial and technical support to all health centers in the district, and working to coordinate the efforts of the Access Project and its local partners.

Prior to joining the Access team, Kamiri worked for two years with Actionaid International where he specialized in translation and data entry.  He graduated from the School of Finance and Banking (SFB) in Kigali, with a specialization in Finance.  While at SFB, Kamiri was the vice-president of a club called Hope for the Future Club, whose primary aim was to help those in need.  He was also vice-president for Friends Who Care Family, which helped fellow students with financial problems by lending money.
