Samuel Whittemore
Global Health Corps Fellow - Rwamagana District
Samuel joins the Access Project team as a Global Health Corps Fellow in the Rwamagana District. Among his many responsibilities are conducting health center management assessments, reporting on the status and progress of Access Project interventions, providing hands-on managerial and technical support to all health centers in the district, and working to coordinate the efforts of the Access Project and its local partners.
Prior to joining the Access team, Samuel worked for BRAC in Sierra Leone and Liberia in the research and evaluation division, and as an economic consultant for Analysis Group, Inc. in Boston (MA). He also worked at the New York City Council as a Policy Intern and at the Inter-University Consortium for Political and Social Research at the University of Michigan. Samuel graduated from Carleton College in 2008 with a degree in Political Science and a concentration in Political Economy.
