Shanaya worked as a Communications Advisor for the Access Project from February-July 2009.  During her time in Rwanda, Shanaya developed a strategic communications plan for outreach to key stakeholders, including government officials, media, and donors. She also redesigned the Access Project Website, built communications tools and developed and conducted training sessions for her Access Project colleagues.

Shanaya received her BA in Public and International Affairs from Princeton University and her Master’s in Business Administration from Harvard University. Prior to working at Pfizer, Shanaya worked for the Boston Consulting Group as a strategic management consultant. Prior to working in her current position as the Director of Policy, External Affairs and Communications, she worked for 5 years in product marketing at Pfizer.
